We hope you all had a super fantastic holiday season. We did end up getting a tree and this is what it looked like.
Pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Piro rolled into town right in time for Christmas. We greeted Piro with a Rivella at the airport but he didn’t like it and ended up throwing it away. Milk serum isn’t for everyone. We’ve seen apprehension to it in the past.
Notice there is no snowboard on his person. It got lost along the way. We weren’t too concerned because we had several days before we were heading to the mountains but he did try to make things as interesting as possible by not having our address or phone number with him when he reported the lost bag. Fun fact: Did you know some airlines outsource their call centers to India?
The tree turned out fantastic! How was Lucy's bar? The snowboarding/skiing adventure looks like it was fun, what beautiful scenery. Have you all had fondue yet? Piro, how could you be so down on Zurich? Have you had any luxemburglies yet??
Bryan, January 8, 2007 09:40 AM:Hey Shelbs. Piro is off in London and Dublin for a week and is not a big reader of the site but I think I can answer your questions. Lucy's Bar was a bust. They'd never heard of a Lucy's Shot and it was full of 80 year olds. Fondue was a bust too. It was too wet. We never did get the Luxemburglies either. No wonder he was down on it!
Chizzy, January 8, 2007 10:07 AM:Big P did love the mags you sent us. He's now a closet US Weekly fan.
Raunchy Rudy, January 9, 2007 07:50 AM:Piro sounds like a dick
Bryan, January 9, 2007 10:02 AM:HAHAHA... that's the beauty of Big P. You might think that by hearing some of these choice stories but he is truly an Intellectual Gentleman. He is a layered and complex man with a soft side that many find quite fascinating. He doesn’t want anybody to know this though so I think he’ll be happy to see your comment, Rudy.
Bubbles from Bern, January 9, 2007 05:15 PM:Who doesn't like milk serum?
Big P, January 10, 2007 12:28 PM:Nice writeup! I think it very accurately captures my essence, we all know I'm a jerk. I will have to write a rebuttal and post my own pics on my site.
CM and J, January 12, 2007 12:35 AM:We enjoyed seeing the pictures of Murren in the snow! Glad you guys had a good time. Sounds like fun traveling with Piro - we've also compiled a list of why the US is the best country in the world. In his defence (British spelling), the more of the world you see, I think the more confident you are in opposing some things, rather than just accepting "that's the way they do it." But disliking milk serum? It's the cure for all that ails you. Is Gluhwine just mulled wine? They called it "Punsch" in Austria.
